【ニューヨーク＝山本正実】１１日のニューヨーク商業取引所の原油先物相場で、国際的な指標であるテキサス産軽質油（ＷＴＩ）の１１月渡し価格が一時、１バレル＝８３・６７ドルまで上昇し、９月２０日につけた史上最高値（８４・１０ドル）に迫った。小恋
終値は前日比１・７８ドル高の１バレル＝８３・０８ドルと続伸した。
国際エネルギー機関（ＩＥＡ）が、この日発表した１０月の石油市場月報で、２００７、０８両年の石油需要がいずれも前年実績を上回ると予想したため、買いが優勢となった。
外国為替市場で、ユーロなどに対するドル安が続いており、ドル建てで取引される原油先物に割安感があると海外の投資家が見たことも、買いの動きが強まった要因と見られる。

Early in Terry Hoeppner’s tenure as the Indiana University football coach, he plucked a book titled “Good to Great” from his Memorial Stadium office shelves and plopped it on his desk.
