IU coach’s death an unfathomable loss

Early in Terry Hoeppner’s tenure as the Indiana University football coach, he plucked a book titled “Good to Great” from his Memorial Stadium office shelves and plopped it on his desk.

“The enemy of great is good,” Hoeppner quoted from the book, with the idea being that if you were content with merely being good, you could never be great.
